Mobility Scooter Batteries
Generally have 3 or 4 wheels and use two 12 volt 35 amp hour (Group U1) sized batteries in series for 24 volt power. However, mobility scooter batteries can be as small as 12Ah and as large as 90Ah depending on the unit. Commonly known as mobility scooters, electric wheelchair, and powerchair.
Electric Scooter Batteries
Often associated with kids 2 wheeled scooters, but there are larger adult versions. The smaller electric scooter batteries are 24 volt units that use two 8Ah or 10Ah batteries. The more powerful units are 36 or 48 volts and use 3 or 4 12 volt batteries in series. We include electric bicycles in this category.
Motor Scooter Batteries
These are gas powered vehicles that can be driven on public roads. They require a 12V starter battery and are not using the battery to power the engine. They have the look and feel of a small or mid-sized motorcycle these days, but traditionally have a step-through design and small wheels.
